We learn more about three men on motorcycles and a teenage boy driving a muscle car, all hunted down and arrested this weekend in Omaha, charged with driving over 100 miles an hour.
The unnamed 17-year-old, driving a Dodge Challenger, was clocked at 120 miles per hour near Oakview Mall at 144and and West Center Road, according to the Nebraska State Patrol.
The three bikers are identified as Jordan Frezell, 31, Derek Wagstaff, 22, and Sergio Garcia, 24, all charged with, among other things, speeding, reckless driving and theft to avoid arrest.
Police tell us the four refused to stop and were then followed from the air by law enforcement who ordered officers on the ground to make the arrests.
Omaha Police and Patrol say the arrests are part of a summer crackdown on “speeding” on the subway that authorities describe as a years-long problem in Omaha.
NSP captain Mark Sutter said the speeders that were captured “showed disregard for the safety of others”.
