Daily Voice is looking for accomplished writers with a passion for local news – from breaking news to restaurant openings to quirky community stories. Is that you?
We operate 148 local locations spanning 78 counties in 7 states – Connecticut, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania and Virginia – and we’re growing!
Our team is fully remote and you don’t need to live in coverage area to work for us. We offer medical, dental and vision services. And if you’re the right candidate with a positive attitude, we’ll give you additional on-the-job training.
Our journalists have a sixth sense for what readers want and what they share. They know how to work with sources and identify stories. They know how to take full advantage of social media both as a source and as a distribution channel.
And they love the thrill of seeing pageviews explode as readers latch onto a story, enjoy it, and share it. We are proud to be THE source of local information.
We work remotely, but offer an inclusive and supportive virtual newsroom culture – you will be an essential part of our close-knit team. We will also reach out to you to build relationships with official sources and first responders, with local agencies and community leaders, and with social media influencers.
