JOB OFFER: Digital Content Producer/MMJ

GREEN BAY, Wis. (WBAY) – WBAY-TV is seeking a digital producer/editor to integrate written, video and audio content into stories for wbay.com and the station’s social media sites. This person will also report live on breaking and development stories from our First Alert Digital Desk.

This person can also shoot and edit videos and interviews for use in newscasts, as well as operate TVU backpacks for live shots. This person will be part of our assignment desk, dispatching teams of reporters, cameramen and other support staff to stories and coordinating distribution across multiple platforms.

Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Write stories, edit and post videos to wbay.com, mobile apps and social media accounts, using AP style.
  • Editing videos, images and interviews to match scripts for use in newsletters or digital platforms.
  • Ability to shoot videos with a phone or camera as needed.
  • Ability to report on a wide range of topics for live audiences on digital platforms or television.
  • A thorough understanding of how to engage users on social media, as well as social listening techniques to uncover stories.
  • Other assigned duties
